Privacy and your data
Understand what stays on your device and what you choose to share.
Local by default
Saved writing is stored on your device. Core writing works offline without an account or developer-hosted journal database. Nearby sharing and file exports create copies only through the actions and settings you choose. System backups are controlled separately by your device settings.
Nearby copies
Pair only devices you trust. Sharing transfers saved entries and prompt context. Turning it off stops sharing; forgetting a device does not remove the copies already there.
Support email
Support email includes your sender address and the content you choose to send. Your journal is not automatically attached. Review the full app privacy policy for data handling, support correspondence, and contact details.
