Nearby sharing

Pair once. Share saved writing directly nearby.

Pair your own devices

On both devices, open Your profile → Nearby sharing. Turn on sharing and Pair a new device. Select the other device, compare the code, and approve on both. Keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled and allow Local Network permission.

What transfers

Saved journal entries and their prompt context exchange automatically between trusted nearby devices. Keep the app open on iPhone and iPad; they reconnect when you return. The Mac app can continue sharing while you use other apps. Internet, an account, and iCloud are not required.

Stay in control

Turn sharing off or forget a device from Your profile. Forgetting prevents automatic reconnection; it does not erase copies already delivered. Profiles, preferences, and reminder schedules stay local. Deletions apply to the device where you delete. Newer edits can update paired copies; independent conflicting edits are preserved.

If pairing fails

Confirm both apps are up to date and nearby, compare the code again, and check Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Local Network permission. Keep both apps open. Sharing is not an always-on background sync service on iPhone or iPad.
